Aika couldn't help but stiffen when Hideki came up behind her. She hadn't expected that. She also hadn't expected the smirk on his face as he addressed the librarian. He seemed to be more mature with that look on his face. She wasn't sure why though.
The librarian looked up clearly frustrated that they had interrupted her from whatever working she had been doing. She adjusted the glasses that had been sliding off her nose before looking at them. She opened her mouth to, no doubt, scold them but when she saw who they were she shut her mouth.
Aika had met this librarian a time or two when dropping off books and there had been rumors of her being a fan of shota-con. And the look on her face upon seeing Hideki definitely backed up that rumor.
The librarian said something but Aika was too stunned about the expression on her face to understand. She glanced at Hideki wondering if he had seen that expression too. She found herself wanting more and more to laugh but she couldn't bring herself to while they were still at the desk.
She handed over the books and quickly stepped away and silently giggled to herself out of sight from the librarian who was too preoccupied with the new books at her desk to notice her.

There is something to be said about the strangeness of Ouran Academy that even some of the non-commoner students notice. For one, there is a lot of pink everywhere. Second, there is way too much squealing in the halls and pretty boys. And third, teachers are either completely fine about all this fan-girling nonsense and ignore it...or they join right in. Hideki tried to keep his smirk in place as the librarian fawned over him, he too not noticing what she said, making a valiant attempt not to pale and look away.
He was not shota, damn it! He was girly looking sure, but shota?!
That was some third-year's job, wasn't it?
Soon as the books had been returned and Aika started to leave, the younger student followed suit and followed after her. Once they were of a safe distance he released a soft gagging-sound. "Okay, I think I need a bath from the way she looked at me," he half-joked, running a hand through his hair. One might think poor Hideki would get used to the looks he got from his young and (dare I say) feminine features. But peers from his school and home were one thing, teachers were another.
"So now we look for Rorschach. Any idea where to start, Aika-senpai?"

Aika giggled into her hand at his statement.
"I can see why you would, Hideki-san. That wasn't a very..."
Aika thought for a moment. She struggled to find the right word for it but finally found the right one after a few seconds.
"...comfortable situation."
She could see why the librarian had gone googly eyed at Hideki, he did have a bit of a femininity about him. There wasn't a lot though, he still had the air of a guy and his almost cold demeanor made him appear more masculine. She thought of her crush Mori-senpai for a and her cheeks were hinted with pink but she quickly looked away to hide her face, should Hideki find it weird that she was blushing. She had been so caught up in the thought of Mori that she hadn't really heard what Hideki asked.
"Uh... "
She scratched absently at her right cheek and avoided eye contact with Hideki. She struggled quietly for a few seconds and lowered her hand.
"We can probably find Rorschach in the Research area. I can't think of any other place it would be kept."
She hoped that he had asked about where to find the book and hoped she hadn't come off as too weird.
