::Celia Alessandra Victoire Sinclair::
Type: Original
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Sexuality: hetero
Crushes: none at the moment :) it'll probably end up being Hikaru or Tamaki, though. She considers Tamaki more of a big brother, though, and Hikaru more of a friend.
Face Claim: none- girl with ribbons in hair from Ouran episodes who chatters in the background and I took screenshots of? XD
Appearance:Celia has somewhat curly brown hair that reaches just below her shoulders, though if it's straightened it goes a tad longer (though she rarely straightens it). Her bangs have a bit of wave to them as well and they round around her face. Her hair is held away from her face a bit by two small purple bows. She's average height, and her eyes are brown. She often wears different colour contacts and wigs, because she loves to cosplay. She likes to dress up so after school she's never in her uniform, and she practically never wears anything twice (except for the uniform of course!). Ceci is known for "messing" with the school uniform, as well- she'll often put accessories on with it, and add and take away certain things. She has several uniforms, all of them different and she'll wear them depending on her mood. One has pink roses stitched into it at the hem and diamonds stitched into the threading and the collar; one has the skirt shortened to mid-thigh and the tights cut to mid-calf with black flip-flops instead of shoes and the sleeves hemmed to short-sleeve instead of long-sleeve, just below the pouf; and yet another has no collar and no tights whatsoever, and the sleeves are modified so that they're long and flowy, while the skirt part is modified to be flowy as well, and she wears white boots instead of the black shoes, and white knee socks underneath. She has more renditions of the uniform as well, but I'll not go into too much detail on that. She will, as mentioned, pick a different one every day and has no real set pattern on which she'll wear and when she'll wear it. No uniform is exactly the same and she doesn't have a uniform that hasn't been altered in some way. Ceci also enjoys fixing her hair in many different styles, so each day it's different, if she wants it to be. She again has no set pattern with this, either.
Personality:Ceci is an actress. She loves theater and has been studying it ever since she was a small child, or rather ever since she saw a movie and remembered it. She's interested in both stage and screen acting, and even expands (especially) to voice acting, which is a field she is particularly interested in. She is part of a theater club in school and another theater group outside of school, and those take up a lot of her time. Her parents are very supportive of her dreams and will allow her pretty much free reign of her life and what she wants to do. She's very passionate about her dreams and she wants to go to college after Ouran and get a master's degree in theater. She's taking a theater class currently in school.
Ceci is quite the friendly person. This is probably because of her acting experience, since she's quite comfortable around other people. She can be a bit of a narcissist at times, but only because her self-confidence and ego are through the roof. She isn't that way in a mean way, though. She's just skilled and proud of it, and she gets complimented like nobody's business because of that, so it's natural she'd have a big ego. She does have stage fright every once in a while, or rather, a lot more often than she'd like to admit, but she gets over it as soon as she's on the stage, because it's then that she has the time of her life.
Celia is also very interested in singing. She has an entire room dedicated to music, her Music Room, at home. It is a relatively empty room, surprisingly, and she has just a piano against one wall, a variety of guitars on another, and on yet another, is a huge bookshelf full of sheet music, sorted alphabetically by name of course. Celia also has a recording room in which she has another piano and will bring in more portable instruments if necessary. She's made quite a few CD's on her own, but hasn't published them or anything, as she really only does the music part of her "career" if it could be called that, by herself. She's a bit self-conscious about it and won't let anyone listen to her sing or play an instrument, even though unknown to herself she's quite good and is quite the music prodigy- but that came with time and practice. One more thing she enjoys, somewhat unrelated to her two performing and skill type hobbies, is reading, and she has another room in her mansion dedicated entirely to that as well- actually all four walls are lined with bookshelves filled from top to bottom, floor to ceiling, with books; also in the room are some couches and lounge chairs, with table lamps and side tables and coffee tables and the like. She will often curl up in one of the chairs and read the day away to get her mind off things.
Strangely enough, or maybe not, Celia is most comfortable on stage, and sometimes has a hard time communicating with others, and will often put on a facade over her feelings if she feels uncomfortable about them. She doesn't know how to handle certain feelings like love or sadness, or others' anger, so she tries to make them go away with her acting. Things like that to her are impossible to deal with, and it's rather like opening up a toolbox and needing a wrench, and all you have is a hammer. Things like that freak her out so she merely pushes them away and pretends they're not there.
Ceci, being friendly as she is, makes friends regularly. She only has very few close friends, though, and they mean a lot to her. She frequents the host club, sitting most of the time with the twins. She doesn't really go to be hosted, but just for the atmosphere. She often laughs at the girls who swoon over Tamaki, or anyone else for that matter, and is quite aware of Haruhi's 'predicament'. She likes hanging around the club even after hours, just to help out, and will often sit at the piano when she thinks no one is around or listening and play. Since Tamaki plays as well she considers him a mentor, and will often ask him to play for her. She calls him 'big brother' a lot, and considers him one. She doesn't have any siblings, so she considers the host club her family, in a way, but all as brothers (and sister, in Haruhi's case). However it is mostly Tamaki that she actually refers to as a big brother, and the rest she just calls by their names or "senpai".
History:Celia was born to two very rich parents, so of course she attended Ouran all her life and grew up in an extravagant lifestyle that many rich kids do, or at least Ouran students definitely do. She doesn't really have any experience with 'together' families, though, and that pains her greatly, because her parents divorced when she was only one year old. She doesn't remember anything about when her family was together. Her parents had her when they were young, and had married young, at only eighteen. Her mother had her when she was eighteen, and the marriage barely even lasted that one year. Eventually they divorced barely a year after they'd married, and Ceci of course went with her mother. She only sees her father on occasion, which would be holidays and when she's on hiatus from school, though sometimes if she is in a play he'll come to see her. Her parents fight every time they see each other, so she doesn't get that opportunity much.
When Celia was three her mother began dating again, but the relationships never lasted. Celia's father never got in another relationship, though recently he has gotten a girlfriend and has even less time for Celia. Ceci is miserable with her home life, because her mother doesn't ever do anything with her and is rather manipulative, and so is the rest of her mother's side of the family. Her father doesn't really like to see her very much, because she looks more like her mother, and that makes him angry.
Because her mother divorced so early and has little "affairs" all the time, it was considered quite the scandal and in fear for the company, she was rejected by her parents in the sense that she is no longer the heir to the company. The company is now being given to Celia's uncle, who is not even biological in the family, because he's the husband of her mother's younger sister.
Ceci hates arguments of any kind, and when people are upset about anything, even if it doesn't have to do with her. Whenever her mother dated someone they'd come live at Celia's home, and within a few weeks her mother and her current boyfriend would be arguing and yelling at each other. She would usually just hide in her reading room and cry until it was over. She hated it.
When Ceci was five she tried to run away from home, and when she was eight and ten she tried again and again. All three times she was eventually brought home by the police or someone who'd found her. All three times her mother hadn't even noticed she was gone, and didn't even care when she returned. All those years, ever since she was three, Celia had found comfort in music and in acting.
When Ceci started high school she joined the theater and began attending the host club. She always had to return home at night, though, and that thought alone would depress her during the school day. Sometimes she'd stay at school at night, sneaking pajamas and clothes into her bag, and would stay in the music room. Even so, she'd still return home after a few nights away, and would be much happier when her mother wasn't dating anyone. Celia was always bright and would make the best of any situation. She took pride in the things she did, and when her mother was happy so was she, even if that did mean her mother was in a relationship- the few weeks that it worked out were always happy and were the best times Celia would have with her mother. When her mother was in a good mood she'd always tell Celia how good she was in what she did.
Celia's elementary school days were a blur, really, because those were the days she was most miserable. However once she was able to get into acting more, though she had always been interested, she was much happier. She had more openings and opportunities once she started high school. Ceci never told her mother about her dreams because she knew her mother had just as much potential to discourage her as she did to encourage her, and she always feared rejection.
Lastly, a bit of backstory: Celia's mother was French/English (hence the English surname) and her father was Japanese. Celia's mother had moved to Japan when she was sixteen because of Celia's grandfather's company, and that's where she met Ceci's father. They married (as mentioned) when they were both eighteen, and you know the story afterward. Even though she contemplated moving back to France, Ceci's mother stayed in Japan because she'd started dating again shortly after the divorce was finalized. Ceci's grandparents had permanently settled in Japan, anyway, so of course she and her mother stayed near them.Controller's Information

How Did You Find Us?: another chara~
Sample RP: "I hate you!" How many times in her life Celia had heard that word- none of them directed toward her, but every time just as painful as if they were. Her mother and her newest boyfriend were fighting again, and every time her mother screamed Celia's heart broke just a little bit more. She was curled up in a chair in the reading room, trying to block it out and trying to stop the tears welling in her eyes, but both were no good. For some reason, though the estate was large, the anger and hate never seemed to be blocked out. She stifled a sob and thought of how this had been the shortest relationship yet- her mother and this guy, whose name she couldn't even remember, had only lasted a few days. It always ended this way, always started the same way; her mother would come home from shopping one day with a new guy, and would introduce him to Ceci, though of course she wasn't listening, wasn't paying attention... her mother and the guy would go off somewhere together and Ceci practically never saw them. She would just keep on doing her own thing, just as she was trying to do.
Celia heard a door slam- it must have been her mother- and some footsteps, someone stomping, and another door slamming- it must have been the guy. Why did it always end this way? Why couldn't her mother just find someone and stick with them? Didn't she know how hard this was on the family, if it could even be called that? Celia was tired of all the abortions her mother was having, all the screaming, all the fighting, all the needlessness of it all. She wanted to just yell at her, tell her to stop making stupid decisions, to stop and think. But she couldn't. She wouldn't. She stayed the silent observer, drowning her sorrows in music, theater, and school.
There was another sound, the sound of shattering glass. That'll be the wine glass.... Celia thought, for she knew her mother's routine by heart: get together, sleep together, yell and argue, break up, drink, repeat. It seemed as if it'd never come to an end. It was always this way, wasn't it?
Celia fell asleep, her face still tearstained, in that armchair in the reading room, waking up just in time for school, and only waking because a maid had found her. She dressed quickly and eccentricly, as she always did, and made her way to school, her place of peace and happiness. She was always smiling there. It was only when she'd gone to change for the dress rehearsal in her theater class that she saw the redness around her eyes, which was greatly contrasted by the pinkness on her cheeks and a smile in her eyes and on her lips.
She stared at her reflection, and quickly applied more eyeliner, but not too much. It didn't hide it completely, but just enough to make her face look flushed and not like she'd been crying all night. Ceci hurried to the stage, her sanctuary, and played her part with fantastic ease. She forgot everything when she was on the stage. Everything about it made her happy.
After theater she went to the rest of her classes, uplifted and truly happy. Finally the school day was over for most, but not to her. She went to the host club, the music room where she spent her afternoons and even evenings. She entered, hearing the familiar "Welcome!" and continued to forget all the things that had happened. After all, she was used to it by now. It didn't matter. She wasn't upset. She wasn't. And she would never be. There was no point in getting upset. There wasn't. She wouldn't. She refused. As she wiped the thoughts from her mind, she felt another smile cross her face and she was happy again, forgetting until the next relationship came to an end.
