It was a beautiful day at Ouran Academy. The bright blue winter sky the gently falling snow flakes, it all made for a very idyllic scene. Of course with its expensive structure and dedication to overflowing with beauty Ouran Academy was always beautiful and idyllic. And it was no wonder. Have you SEEN the tuition? Creating an attractive calm paradise for the future leaders of tomorrow was apparently a rather expensive undertaking. But the president seemed to manage it just fine. Even without flowers or blooming trees the courtyards were still beautiful, the statues and thin layer of snow creating a lovely picture for the students who braved the chill. A peaceful pure paradise.
“GET AWAY FROM ME YOU CRAZY WOMAN!”
Or not.
Looking haggard—and a bit terrified—a freshman boy tore through the courtyard at top speed. Running without regard for whom or what he nearly crashed into as if his life depended on it. And considering who was chasing him….well it sort of was! Long brown hair trailing like a flag and sharp brown eyes on her target Eri Kokoro was gaining on the unlucky boy who made the mistake of turning to look at the girl. It wasn’t a sight to inspire confidence on the freshman’s part. “Prepare for heavenly justice!!” The distance between the pair grew shorter and launching herself into the air Eri nailed the younger boy between the shoulders with her foot. Thanks to the snow what would have already been an unpleasent skid was made about three times longer, sending the boy crashing into one of the many courtyards statues. Eri as always landed on her feet with arms crossed and a pleased smirk. Crossing the distance between them with her confident jaunt; as if the handful of students passing through the courtyard that had witnessed the scene weren’t thinking she was some sort of crazy Yankee.
“Toshi Aino!” the boy who was slumped over twitched and quickly twisted about so he was sitting on his butt. “Are you going to return what you stole from Kino’s schoolbag or am I going to have to make you pay reparations with your body?!” Turning as pale as the snow the boy quicklystarted to dig through his pocket, Eri’s glare growing darker by the minute.
“H-Here! Here it is!” he produced a pencil and threw it at Eri, who despite looking fairly shocked caught the writing utensil. All that work for a pencil?! This was that idiot girl’s treasure?! She barely even heard the blabbering boys whimpers about liking her classmate and just wanting something of hers and blah blah blah…Eri didn’t care. She turned the obviously used pencil about and stared at it intently, as if that would reveal why it was so darn important. The girl had been crying over it! She’d said it was irreplaceable! It looked perfectly ordinary. Only…what was that mark near the eraser. Host club?
"I...I think her favorite h-host used it...I was jeal-" Ren froze seeing the dark look on Eri's face. Her eyebrow was twitching as well. That couldn't be good. She'd chased him half way across the school FOR A PENCIL?! In a moment of fury she hurled the trinket. Wh yahdnt he just given it back when she'd bloody asked?!
"Unless it's made of solid gold no freaking utensil is that valuable idiot!"
