It was nice to hear that there was another person in here that wished to see someone live that kind of life. Even better, there was at least someone, a rich person, who actually wants to see what would be her life as a lower to middle class person.
If there was one thing that he never expected coming, it was certainly the fact that Akane pretty much started talking about her personal background- or at least, skimmed it- to someone she met just a while ago. She even was very comfortable talking about stuff like that.
In short, she lived a good life as a child until she went rebellious, something her parents frowned upon which lead to bad situations, something Akane disliked. She also had this different trait that made her special; something that sounded like... synesthesia? Was that it? He was not really familiar with the name, but hey, he's not the kind of person to know everything. The boy nodded at her, listening to every word that slipped out of her lips.
"Sounds like you had it bad." He pointed out, even if it was quite obvious that it was. Lifting up his headband with his thumb just so she could see the bottom half of his brown eyes, Vince placed a hand on Akane's shoulder. The reason he did so was probably because he wanted some effect of some sort. "Then keep searching for it. I'm sure you will find it in due time. Hell, maybe I'll help you find it." He paused, raising an eyebrow at his words. "Somehow." He finished, stretching the word 'somehow'.
He grinned at his own words as he removed his hand and pulled down his headband to its former position.
"So, what now?" It was quite odd for him to ask that question. He looked at the sky for a few moments, noting that it was getting quite late. "Wanna join up sometime soon?"

THE ROSES ARE RED Akane shrugged her shoulders, when Vince had said that she had it bad. "It wasn't to bad, but for a rich kid. Yeah, it was bad." She said. When she felt a hand on her shoulder, Akane looked up at Vince. She caught sight of brown eyes, hmm. Brown, interesting. Most blonde had like blue eyes, or purple eyes, in the case of one of the hosts.
He was right. What now? Akane could tell it was getting late. She looked down at her cut finger. Hmm, by the looks of it. It was still bleeding, she inspected the finger. "I think, I should get this finger checked-out. It hasn't stopped bleeding, yet. She said aloud. It wasn't really directed to Vince, it was just more like she was openly talking to herself. Akane nodded at his next statement. "We should team up sometime," She said. "Probably in the near to far future."
Akane had been standing for a bit, now and her feet were starting to kill her. She bent down and took her shoes off her feet. She held on in each hand and was now standing in her knee high WHITE socks. She liked the feeling of grass under her feet.

"As soon as possible, Akane." He said. Vince really wanted to see Akane again for some reason. It was probably because she was a very nice person who, obviously, was as different as he was. "And yeah, you should get this checked out." It was quite obvious that she was talking to herself because of the tone she used; such a tone was usually used for pondering after all. However, Vince felt the need to confirm that statement.
The boy reached for the school uniform's inside pocket and got a pencil along with a piece of paper out of it. During the time Akane was taking her shoes off her feet, Vince kneeled on only a knee and began writing on the piece of paper that he perfectly placed on his lap. By the time he was done scribbling, the blonde girl was already done taking off her footwear and was now standing in her socks, which would probably be stained due to the grass.
He stood up from his former position and handed the paper to the girl. "Here you go." He started with those simple three words. "It's my cell's phone number. Give me a call someday, alright?"
With that, he placed the pencil back in his inner pocket. Vince thought it was about time that he left for home; he still had dinner to eat after all. "I'll be going home now." He announced. "It was nice meeting you Akane, and see ya next time."
Turning away from the junior, Vince started walking away from the Rose-Bush Maze. He slowly moved his head to look at her from the corner of his eye and lifted his hand as a parting gesture.
"Remember to look for the red headband if you're looking for me alright? Get Chance and Luck." Soon after those words, the boy disappeared from Akane's sight.
On the way home, he couldn't help but smile at that wonderful meeting he just had; never once did he expect meeting someone at such a place. That might be just a friendship that he will have to work hard to keep.
"Take the Long Way Home."
Returning to his mother language just to quote the title of a song, Vince's smile faltered as the sight of his oh-so-familiar home greeted him.

Akane took the piece of paper that Vince had written for her. She read the number over and then put the piece of paper in her bag. She nodded at him, as if saying thanks silently. She watched Vince walk around the corner and then our of her sight. Akane was happy to meet someone like Vince at a school like this. He was different from the rest of the high class kids at this school. She could tell, because she was one of those different kids at Ouran. She knew that he wasn't different like her, no ones hardly was, but he was still different.
Akane was woken from her thoughts by a warm liquid making its way down her finger. Her cut, she can forgotten about that. She quickly made her way toward the school, while pulling on her shoes. She made her way toward the nurse's office. She found that the nurse was gone. So, Akane bandaged herself. With some rubbing alcohol and a bandage. After she had bandaged her finger, she made her way home. She didn't feel like calling to get a limo to drive her, so, she just walked her way home. Vince, still in her thoughts
