::Takashi “Mori” Morinozuka::
Type: Canon
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Crushes: N/A for now
Face Claim: hmm, obvious, no?
Appearance:Tall, dark and handsome.Mori stands at an impressive 192cm (6’2”) in height, his physique both toned and muscular thanks to his martial arts and kendo training. To most he would appear quite intimidating, if it wasn’t for the almost constant presence of Mitsukuni beside him, or perched on his shoulders. His silent demeanour and his often expressionless face, as well as his build, are what make him look intimidating or scary.
He has short black hair, that he wears mostly flat and unstyled. His eyes are a dark, almost cold, grey. His eyes don’t give much away to what he is feeling or thinking, and that just adds to him being intimidating. He also has naturally tanned skin, and he hardly ever speaks or smiles, and is rarely ever seen without Mitsukuni by his side.
When he isn’t wearing Ouran’s male school uniform, he can either be found in his kendo gi or karate gi. When he isn’t wearing any of those and is going out somewhere with the Host Club or just with Mistukuni, he normally sticks to more casual clothes, normally in shades of black or dark blue.
Personality:“Strong, yet kind. Picture a Siberian husky... he's just like one.”
As much as Mori may look intimidating, he has a deep-running sense of loyalty and friendship. He treasures those that are dear to him, especially Mitsukuni. He takes his role as a Morinozuka seriously, despite the fact that it is now modern-day. His loyalties not only lie with Mitsukuni, but also with the other Host Club members too. He would protect every single one of them.
Along with his loyalties, he is also rather stoic and silent. He rarely speaks a word, but when he does, it is normally something profound or knowledgable. He's smart, and definitely thinks more than he speaks - which would be a lot of thinking, considering how very little he speaks in the first place.
Being this silent, tall, and muscular often makes him appear intimidating to other people, not just in apperance but also in personality. If people were to either take the time to get to know him, or manage to slip under his so-called "wall", they would find out that he is a very kind and caring person, and not as scary as most would think or assume.
He's clever, getting high grades in school, and takes the time to analyze things properly. He's always on hand whenever anyone asks or needs help, and although he rarely talks, he is very kind and thoughtful of other people. He especially worries and cares about Mitsukuni a lot. He tends to get depressed when Mitsukuni is mad at him, or takes the blame upon himself if Mitsukuni is hurt - and during those times he can be very pessimistic.
As far as likes go, Mori enjoys reading, and practicing martial arts and kendo. His favourite classes in school are Geography and Japanese History. As we can see from his attitude, kendo and sword skills, and the traditional home and lifestyle in which he has, both himself and his family stick to their roots. Also, on this note, Mori's favourite foods are traditional Japanese foods, such as Natto.
As for dislikes, it's pretty simple. Mori wouldn't like anyone that insulted or threatened any of his friends, especially Mitsukuni. It would probably be best for people's safety, if Mitsukuni or any of Mori's other friends weren't hurt in any way. He dislikes seeing Mitsukuni hurt or upset. Also on a similar note, Mori has zero-tolerance for bullies. If he were to see anyone getting bullied or picked on, chances are he would step in and help.
When it comes to fears, Mori doesn't have many. His only real fear is something bad happening to Mitsukuni. Or anyone else he cares about, for that matter, such as his other friends and his family. He's the type of guy that would do anything for those close to him, and his loyalty is solid. He would defend them with everything he had, even if it meant putting himself at risk. As long as his friends are alright, nothing else matters.
History:Mori grew up in his traditionally-styled home, with his parents and his younger brother, Satoshi. Ever since they were just children, Satoshi looked up to Mori, and was always a sort-of "mini-me", with the exception of some aspects of their personalities. Where Mori is quiet and stoic, Satoshi is loud and talkative. He's always behaved well, never the type to get into any trouble - in fact, he was always normally the one to get people out of trouble.
Ever since he was a child, he’s been very close to his cousin Mitsukuni, who he is still very close with - in fact, one of them is rarely ever seen without the other. He’s the national Kendo champion, having started training as a child and taking the sport very seriously. He is also seen wielding a sword sometimes when practicing at home, also showing his loyalty and love for his country's history. He and his family have always taken their roles as Morinozuka’s seriously, and Mori is the same, even if marriage blended the Morinozuka and Haninozuka bloodlines two generations ago, because he has a deep-running sense of loyalty.
He was a member of the Kendo club in middle school, and is also a member at Ouran, and he only joined the Host Club when Mitsukuni did after Tamaki talked him into it. He is now attached to the Host Club, and considers all it’s members good and close friends. The Host Club has been a good thing for everyone that’s a part of it, he’s noticed. He was especially thankful, and still is, that Mistukuni is now able to be himself and stop pretending to be something he isn't.
His own life hasn’t changed much, and he sticks to almost the same routine every day, with the exception of the different cosplay or events the Host Club arranges.Controller's Information

Rude’s day had started off uneventful. However, that took a turn in the opposite direction after around an hour of being in his office. He had just been trying to get some work finished, and was taking a look at some device that Elena had came back from a mission with, saying it had been attached to Leviathan’s back and had been influencing its actions. The middle of it had been destroyed by the bullet Elena had had to hit it with, but parts of it were spared – or spared enough to try and figure out, at least. It was an interesting little thing, with some sort of brand on the underneath in one of the corners. Elena had taken a look at it herself first, but insisted that Rude also take a look because he knew more.
It had been awfully quiet so far today, and once again, he found it slightly unusual. His eyebrows drew together slightly as he paused in what he was doing. He stood by his suspicions that something was wrong when the place was this quiet. He was practically waiting on Reno showing up and finding out that Rod was back, and the two of them just starting to bicker and argue just like old times. He had to admit, as annoying as Reno and Rod’s bickering was going to get, it was nice having more of the Turks around again. It kind of gave hope in that maybe the others would return eventually too. First Cissnei, now Rod had returned. Who was going to be next, if anyone? Part of him didn’t want to hold out any hope, but the other part of him wanted them to come back.
Around a minute later, after he had resumed working on the device, the door of his office opened without the person knocking first, and he knew it had to be one of three people – Reno, Rod or Cissnei. They were the only ones that didn’t knock when they came into his office. Looking up, sure enough, Rude found it to be Rod bounding into his office, with a large grin on his face. Rude almost felt like facepalming at the younger Turk, who immediately approached his desk, perching himself on the edge of it, asking what he was doing. Rude hadn’t answered and instead just gestured at the half-destroyed device in front of him.
Rod’s eyes had lit up, and they had set about trying to figure it out together, with Rod being surprisingly tame and calm in comparison to how he behaved normally. It was rather amusing seeing Rod so quiet and concentrated on something. It would have been interesting to see how he had been working in the ‘real world’, and having a real, normal job instead of being a Turk. Rude was willing to bet that Rod had been the best damn mechanic in the whole of Edge, and he was probably right. Rod had been making quite a bit of progress on figuring out exactly how the device worked, when the door to Rude’s office opened again and Cissnei came in this time. However, he missed the expression on her fact before she turned to close the door because Rod was in the way.
“Rude...I need your help... It’s about Reno...”
Ordinarily, Rude might have just asked something along the lines of “what did he do now?”, but as soon as he had heard Cissnei’s turn he knew this was serious. Her voice sounded like it was going to break, or that she was going to cry, and she had yet to turn around. He immediately frowned, instantly worried. What’s going on? Cissnei would never act like this unless something had really upset her. Had something happened to Reno? “Cissnei, what’s wrong?” He lowered his glasses slightly and looked over them at the petite girl, before he went to stand up and move over to her.
Note: Most of this application was taken from my previous apps as Mori, so if you find the same thing on another older (and dead) site, then that's why. Also, I apologise for the history not being much of anything, but we don't really get much of an insight into Mori's past =/
