Age: 16
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Het.
Crushes:HaruhiNone.
Face Claim: Hikaru Hitachiin
Appearance:Hikaru, although handsome, isn't one of a kind; he looks exactly like his twin, Kaoru Hitachiin. His hair, short and spiky brown is probably the only thing that can be used in determining who is Hikaru and who is Kaoru in their infamous game, while his bother parts his hair to the right, his is styled to the left. Standing next to each other, one wouldn't be able to tell the difference once they have a hat on to cover that minor difference (maybe not counting the time he dyed his hair flamingo pink, but that shouldn't count). He stands at a height of five feet nine inches, with a lean and slim body type.
He has a very angular face; consisting of high cheekbones, a razor sharp jaw, and large, golden eyes. One thing that could be said about Hikaru's eyes would be that most often, his emotions are expressed in his eyes, though his face may be in the usual set look, whether he's feeling irritated, annoyed, or shocked, the feeling intensifies or dims the brightness of his orbs. Long, dark lashes topped with thinly done eyebrows frame and arch his eyes, Thin lips curved into a mischievous smirk are often etched on to his face. Overall, his face is mostly set in two expressions- one that gives off the impression that he's up for no good, and one that's indifferent and almost bored.
Due to his mother's occupation, it's obvious that looks run high and sometimes dominates his life. What he wears are specially picked and made from his mother's line. The last thing that he would be seen running around in is some cheap clothes that commoners buy at the supermarket or shopping district (mass production!). At school, he's seen in the tailored uniform consisting of black dress pants and shoes, a white dress shirt held at the collar by a black tie with a purple stripe running down the middle- and a sky blue blazer. After hours he usually loosens the tie, unbuttons a few buttons at the top and holds the blazer over his shoulder. At the club he wears whatever the theme is (which, naturally, is picked out and made by his mother or grandmother). As for outside of school such as vacation, his style can only be classified as carefree, colorful and casual, nothing serious but nothing drabby and dark either.
Personality:Hikaru has a rather complex personality. As a child, it was simple- he had only believed in a world that his like him and his twin against the world. He had a wall around himself and wouldn't even try to get close to people, if anything he would've tried to shoot them down before he would give them a change. Mostly it was due to the fact that when people looked at them, they saw them as one person, twins rather then two, individual, different people. They, off looks, couldn't tell one from another- and it planted this seed inside him- where he and his twin was one person, and they had to go through life alone.
He wasn't really a person who would look deep inside of himself to figure out what he wanted. Desperately he wished that someone could win the 'Who's Hikaru Game', and when they didn't, he would peg them as one of those people, one of 'them'. In a way, he knew he wanted someone to get it, but he didn't want to open up- he had grown used to things as they were- playing with things while he's fascinated with them, then tearing them down when he was bored, and didn't think that he would let that go, that he couldn't change because he thought that his world was fine as it was.
But when he met Tamaki and opened the door that was the portal through the wall around his life; he became more open. He would be more playful, and though he still plays his tricks and treats the people around him (with the exception of Kaoru) like they are toys only for his amusement, they usually wouldn't be thought up with the intention to destroy one's reputation as they had tried to do with Tamaki, but more of a playful nature (which is mainly still focused on Tamaki and his obsession with his 'daughter'). In fact, he would do what it takes to get what he wants, elborate tricks and play to manipulate people around him until they give in (more then once, it has worked). He has opened up enough to consider the Host Club family, and would do whatever his Highness wants him to do (as long as his delusions are coherent, or even possible for that matter). Haruhi remains the only person that Hikaru has accepted on his own accords and managed to get close to without trying something on her.
But old habits die hard. Even after they have decided left their cold demeanor and views behind about the world, Hikaru still has trouble with letting people inside his heart. He can become increasingly persistent in pushing people away by just one flaring temper tantrum, a childish act on his behalf. Anything that could threaten his relationship with the Host Club and with his twin is possibly the biggest threat to him, he fears that someone would walk into his life and make him regret his decisions. In a way, he doesn't want to be reminded of the being alone again. This act often causes him to do things without thinking and saying things that probably would smack him in the face when he's alone.. then he would literally smack himself in the face for saying it.
In the Host Club, he acts like the Devil. Compared to Kaoru, he's a little more... evil. While Kaoru is different when he's without Hikaru, Hikaru is pretty much the same as he is when he's with Kaoru, if not a little more obnoxious, irritating and hard to handle (since his brother keeps him in line). Together, they still have a strong bond, and while he's away, Hikaru can't help but worry and worry about him, because he can't stand the mere thought of something bad happening to the younger twin.
History:(ooc- I SUCK at the history section.. but here we go!)
Hikaru (along with his twin, but he's irrelevant), was born on September ninth, which makes him a Gemini. Even to their mother, they were never considered two different people. Everyone in the family always had to guess who was who, and most of the time, they were wrong. And even when they were dressed up in different style of clothes and hair their hair dyed different, random colors, no one could really tell who was who. After all, the only ones who which who was who was themselves. It irritated them when even the people they had grown up with and lived with couldn't tell who they were- (thinking back, he found it amusing that no one had picked up on what Haruhi had picked up so fast, especially when they had only known her for a few months).
But anyways, his father owned a computer software company, and was probably the only person he had ever was close to and knew the difference. His mother was a fashion designer and made clothes in an effort to tell them apart (as said before, it didn't really work). And their grandmother.. well, she's mastered the wonderful art of flower-arranging, which ends up on top of her hair at one point or another. She looked like a witch, but clearly that's not why they called her that- her personality was just horrid. Creativity and the arts ran deep into Hikaru's blood. Seeing that the women on his family could do with sticks or pieces of fabrics, they eventually started going their own work.
Throughout their lives, they were mostly seen together, holding hands and staying close to each other. The deep bond that kept them together allowed them to understand the inner workings of each others minds- often completing each others thoughts and finishing their sentences without really thinking about it or even realizing it. It's one thing that people usually refer to as 'twin telepathy'.
In all of their lives, the one thing that really had an impact on him- a nurse that watched over them. She was nice, but a thief. One night, they caught her trying to rob them by cracking the safe. The twins had caught her in the act, and told her if she could guess who was Hikaru, then they would give her the combination, or else they would alert the guards. The tables unfortunately turned, and she had managed to steal the numbers anyways. But before she left, she told the two that it was possible that no one would ever tell them apart.
That was when he adopted to see the world as 'them' and 'us'. The game 'Which one is Hikaru?' was born, and they often tested to see if the person knew before they would open up- naturally they always got it wrong anyways. And every time someone got it wrong, Hikaru felt.. lost. Like he was just half of something, and not an entire person. And when a girl confessed her love and they tested her, they always saw that as dating either one of the 'twins', not dating 'Hikaru'.
And then Tamaki ran into the picture, asking them to be a part of the club. And, as usual, they put him to the test and after nearly a month, he finally guessed right, but, to Hikaru's dismay, it was merely a guess. But no matter how hard they tried to push him away, he wouldn't leave. And they decided to take a risk and move forward anyway.
He was entered the Host Club with Kaoru, and is still trying to open up his life a little more.Controller's Information

Sample RP:Corrine leaned forward, the steaming coffee cup was held carelessly between the tips of her fingers jerked slightly as she rested her elbow on the smooth grain surface, the other arm in her lap. She regarded the scene outside with a cool, amber gaze. She had never been the summer type of person; the humid air, the bright sun, and, the fact that people had a tendency to go all out since school was over irritated her. She was, however, partial to any other season, finding serenity in the rain, the cooler skies and colors, and the winter wonderland that seemed to transform the dull, boring earth into something softer and more innocent.
But this... was ridiculous, and even she, who felt especially inspired by the frosted window and white laces on the trees, felt peeved as she shook her head and turned to look at her drink, rolling the styrofoam cup in circles, eying the liquid as it moved.
This morning she had felt the need to go out and buy some supplies, learning that it was time to move on, since her charcoal pencils and paintbrushes have seen better days with the abuse she had put it through. Changing into dark-wash jeans, a long-sleeved blouse and black boots- she figured that she would be out for an hour or two, tops. She would have been gone and back to finish some work that she had to do for a class.
Not half and hour later, a snowstorm hit- not very powerful, but enough to make her want to stay inside in hopes to avoid getting sick. So she had decided to seek shelter in the nearest cafe; ordering a cup of double shots to pass time, hoping the restlessness she was feeling would eventually pass.
With a soft sigh, she leaned back and crossed her legs, tucking a strand of short blue hair behind her ear as she reached to pull out a pencil from her bag and started to draw absently on the cup, blacking out the bolded 'CAUTION! MAY BE HOT!; print.
