::Ariana Valentine::
Type: Original
Age: sixteen
Gender: female
Sexuality: heterosexual
Crushes: As sad as it seems, she has a crush on two host members; Tamaki and Mori
Face Claim: Orihime Inoue - Bleach
Appearance:Being half-Japanese and half-American, Ariana differs from other girls around her in several ways. First off, her hair is an orangey-brown in color, falling a little past her shoulder blades in a straight fashion. Her bangs cover her forehead and are usually kept in place by a set of silver flower/snowflake shaped hair pins. Next, she has large brown eyes, that are framed by dark lashes. They are very expressive, showing the naturally happy person that she is. However, she has a pair of color changing contacts that make her eyes a grey shade. Its not that she doesn't like her brown eyes, but some days she just feels like changing it up. To contrast her naturally warm tones, she has a fair skin tone that isn't sickly pale, nor is it extremely dark. She stands at around 5'8", rather tall for most girls her age, and weighs the surprisingly high amount of 137 pounds. To finish off her strange physical appearance, Ariana is astonishingly curvy, her hourglass figure differing from most other girls.
As for her wardrobe, it is rather varied, having many styles for whenever the mood strikes her. She has mostly graphic tees with cute little sayings and pictures on them, but she has a couple of plain tees as well. She has a lot of sweat pants and jeans, preferring full pants to shorts. Also, she has several dresses, some set aside for formal occasions and most others are summer and casual. She also has a couple hoodies that have her favorite bands logos and names on them. All in all, she has a casual style, made for comfort.
Personality:Ariana is a bubbly and happy person with astonishing amounts of energy. She loves talking to people and making new friends, no matter what clique they are in or what they look like. She is a very big optimist, always trying to look at things with a cheerful point of view. She is a rather intelligent girl, always doing well in class without having to study much. As long as she does the homework and kinda-sorta pays attention in class, she does just fine. Except for math. Oh, how much she despises that class. She is a very loyal and trustworthy individual. She is also a rather loyal companion. If you need a shoulder to cry on, a person to talk to, or just someone to tell a secret to, she's always there to listen. She may not be able to give advice, but she is always there to help comfort those in need.
But, even though she is such a happy person, she has an extremely big temper. She can't stand when people are made fun of or picked on. No matter what, she doesn't believe someone should be bullied. Also, if you mess with someone that she loves dearly or with one of her friends, she will never forgive you. And, once you loose her good opinion, it is very hard to get it back. She has a habit of disliking a person far longer than even those that are originally hurt. Should someone hurt one of her friends, even once her friends have grown to forgive them, she does not. It's just how she is.
Also, she is fairly hypocritical. She is annoyed easily and can't stand it when people ask stupid questions, yet she does it all the time. She is a really big ditz, always asking stupid questions and saying stupid things. Because of this, she is often corrected, which she cannot stand. Since she is easily annoyed, this affects her greatly. Also, when someone is trying to correct her, or if she says something stupid that accidently offend someone and they go off on her, she becomes all defensive instead of just apologizing. Plus, she isn't the most patient person in the world. Also, she a very clumsy person, tripping over air or falling up the stairs. And she isn't happy all the time. Sometimes she even has days where she is totally unbubbly for no reason. She just has no reason to be happy, so she is just kind of neutral. It's at these moments where she is especially easy to anger and annoy.
History:Ariana was born and raised in New York City, New York, to a couple of world famous and wealthy jewelers. She lived a very sheltered life in her home in New York. She wasn't allowed to go to any of the schools in New York. Instead, her parents hired private tutors to teach her everything, not wanting their precious child to be taught the wrong things in the schools. She was taught the standard things; math, english, science. However, she was also taught Japanese, making sure she knew her mothers families language, and manners. She truly hated that class, having to learn all these manners at such a young age.
Even though the young girl was taught at home, meaning she was pretty much stuck there, she hardly ever saw her parents. They were busy people who didn't come home until late at night and never made time in their schedules to spend time with their only child. They weren't even there for any of her birthdays. And so, Ariana lived a sad life, sheltered from the outside world with no love from her parents and no friends to spend time with. There was only one plus to her lonely life, and that was the fact that her grandmother on her fathers side was living with them as well. After her husband, Ariana's grandfather, died not long after her birth, her father should a single thought of compassion for his mother and invited her to stay with him and his family. His mother graciously accepted his offer.
While growing up, her grandmother was always there for her in place of her parents. She was always there to watch her private piano recitals and she was always there to be proud of her horrendous art projects. Ariana loved her grandmother more than anything in the world. It was her grandmother, not her parents, that taught her right from wrong and how to become a good person. It was because of her grandmother that Ariana didn't grow up to be either a spoiled brat or an empty shell. As the little girl grew, her adolescent years quickly approaching, she began to complain to her grandmother about how she wanted to go to school, telling her that she was lonely but she was too afraid to ask her parents. It was her grandmother that suggested she ask her parents and face her fears because the worst thing they could do was say no.
So, when she turned 11, she finally built up the courage and she finally went to her parents and demanded that she be able to go to school. Her parents, not wanting to deal with her nagging, placed her into a private school in New York. Taking her grandmothers advice, she had asked and found her grandmother was right; there was really nothing to be afraid of when it came to facing her fears and just asking them. It was just another thing that she learned from her beloved grandmother. Though she couldn't quite follow this principle when it came to things such as spiders and heights, she learned a lesson that stuck with her. She didn't have to be afraid of just asking a simple question to her parents. Her list of fears had just been knocked down a notch.
She attended the expensive, private school until she was 14, joining its high school program until she was 16 years of age. Through her experiences, she found that she really loved school. Sure, she hated the work load that came with it, but something much more important was gained. She finally was able to make friends and experience something outside of the prison her home had become. However, for reasons unknown to her, when she turned 16, her parents told her that they were going to move. Even though this disheartened Ariana, knowing she would have to leave the friends that she had made, she couldn't help but feel excited to move to another place and meet new people. Plus, her grandmother was going to be with her for this new challenge, so that made it a bit better. And so, her family moved to Japan. Thanks to the family business, she was fortunate enough to be enrolled in Ouran Academy, one of the best schools in all of Japan.Controller's Information

Sample RP:Silence. That was all that could be heard in the dark streets of the Sei-Rei-Tei. It wasn't unusual for these long and narrow streets to be so quiet, even in the daytime. But, it came so much more apparent at night, the darkness covering the streets like a blanket, muffling all sounds that resound off of the walls in the training grounds. Of course, most other shinigami were in bed at this time, or off drinking in their barracks. Most didn't leave the barracks at this time of night. But, when you can't sleep and all the others in your Company are sound asleep, what is a girl to do? Certainly one can't just lay there hoping for sleep to come and comfort them in its soft embrace. No, one had to get up and do something. So, that's exactly why, if you also happened to be walking through the streets, you could see the bubbly and cheerful Lieutenant of the 11th Division out so late.
Shinju's long lavender locks swished from side to side as she skipped along the path, humming a happy tune. Most would be annoyed at not being able to sleep, but Shinju just had to much energy to sleep this early and she just took it how it came. She usually just slept in insanely late anyway to make up for it. A smile on her face, she continued to walk the pitch black streets. Well, I wouldn't say pitch black. After all, they had street lamps placed here and there. But, they didn't shine brightly enough to cover the areas where they weren't placed. So, at the moment it was pretty dark. But, she kept walking and humming anyway, not caring because she knew that if anything happened, she had her trusty Yuki-Onna with her. No reason to be afraid of the dark here.
But, the worst part of these walks was that one could get ever so lonely, being the only one out this late. She could only converse with her sword so much before she ran out of topics. She needed someone to talk to, otherwise she would get bored. Which, now that she thought about it, she was getting bored with just walking the dark streets of the town. Looking up, a thought popped into Shinju's mind as she smiled widely at her geniusness. Quickly, she jumped, practically flying as she soared in the air. It was a nice feeling, the almost flying sensation making her feel like a bird. But, what goes up must go back down. So, she landed on one of the roof tops, feet landing with not even a single sound. Quickly, she looked around as she began to hop from roof top to roof top.
She probably looked really suspicious, but her motives for looking around constantly were for a good purpose. These intentions were only clear when she spotted what she was looking for. It was a roof, not any different than any other rooftop among the buildings of the Sei-Rei-Tei. But, it held a certain importance that wasn't even known to she herself as to why she cared so much for this particular rooftop. Sitting down, she quickly fell down with a plop as she put her arms behind her head and gazed up on the sky, the bright pin pricks of light reflecting in the cerulean pools of her eyes. A small smile was held upon her face as she was overcome with a feeling of peace as she finally began to feel the slightest bit tired. She always felt so relaxed up here. She really wished she knew why.
