:: Honoka Matsuki ::
Type: Original
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Crushes: TBA
Face Claim: Lain from ‘Serial Experiments Lain’
Appearance:Honoka has a very pretty face hidden under a simplistic appearance. She hates makeup and long hair, and has her hair chopped just a few inches beneath her ears other than her bangs, which are cut to hang over her eyebrows, atop her eyes. The left side of her bangs is a bit longer than the rest of her hair, going to shoulder-length, and pulled together by a ribbon tied in an X shape. Her hair and eyes are both dark brown, her eyes being of a slightly lighter shade. Makeup hardly ever touches her face. She dislikes the feel of it, and will only willingly wear it for dances or important occasions. School does not count as a special occasion, no matter how much people egg her on.
Honoka, like many others at Ouran High, is very thin. She weighs only about 109lbs, and stands at 5’9ft. The girl manages to eat a lot though, because of a high metabolism. Regardless of her weight she is still strong; mainly because of all the work she did and still does at her family’s stables. She is usually found wearing jeans and t-shirts, and hates dresses and skirts, but tolerates them for school.
Personality:The most outstanding feature is one that Honoka was always taught by and treated with by her parents – honesty. So she’ll say things as she means them, unless it’s not something nice, unless the person needs to hear it. She is honest and respectful of others, and tries not to be annoying at all. That is not to say that she’s quiet, because she likes to talk – not a lot, but at a moderation. Honoka is a down-to-earth sort of person, but also very stubborn. She likes to listen and take in things, which is how she learns quickly, then also have a bit of time to come up with reasonable answers most of the time. She hates loud and noisy people, especially those who don’t think of themselves as being it.
On the other hand, Honoka can be a fun sort of person too. She is somewhat of a daredevil, and more of a tomboy than anything thanks to her upbringing. She doesn’t flirt, at least not often enough for anyone to know what type of people she is interested in. Honoka has a knack for stronger people who can do a day’s work no problem. She hates anyone who talks too much – they bore her.
Honoka is not obsessed with her image in any way. Sure, she’ll make sure she looks good, but she doesn’t spend hours every morning doing her hair. A few times through with a comb to get the knots out is enough for her. Her passion is horses. She knows most of what there is about horses, and wants to take over her parents’ business when they die. She takes things seriously that need to be taken as such, but also likes to joke around and play pranks on people now and then.
There are a few things that Honoka doesn’t like, though. For one thing, she doesn’t like surprises, at all. If anyone surprises her she gets angry at them, which doesn’t last long. She is a forgiving person.. The girl doesn’t much like wild, carnivorous animals either. In fact, she usually runs away from them on sight.
History:Honoka was born in the late fall, just a few days before Halloween. Her parents were very wealthy; her father bred and competed horses, and her mother was a designer for military weapons. Her father rarely ever bought any horses, but when they did, her father personally made sure it was a high class horse. They competed their horses in every kind of horse championship imaginable. Her mother worked on whatever she thought up - an addition to any current weapons to make them better, or just new weapons and the specifications all together. They didn’t specifically live large though. They had a decently sized, two-story house. It was just big enough for the family, and no more space than really necessary. Honoka’s father did not believe in having anything larger than needed. Their stables were outstanding though. There were always at least 50 extra stalls, just in case, and hundreds of horses, all of great class. Honoka was always a part of the stables. She practically grew up in them. Whenever she wasn’t doing something else, she was helping out in the stables. The family was never afraid to get their hands dirty and do some work themselves.
Her father took her out riding lots of times when she was young. They rose clear out to the end of cleared land to woods one day. They went deep into the woods so that her father could show her the landmarks for where their own land ended and another man’s began. They ran into a bear in the woods, one that was not afraid of them by the least. It killed the horse that Honoka was riding while she was on it, and fell. She was only 7, and she was scared out of her mind being so close to the bear. Before it could kill her too, her father shot it.
When Honoka was old enough (11), she was given one to help raise, a thoroughbred black colt with a white stripe down its nose. It was her horse, and no one else would even so much as ride it without asking her first. She worked hard with that filly, taught it everything she knew and everything her father told her. It was possibly one of the most important times of her life. The horse, which she named ‘Kenta’, was strong and fast, very fast. He was a proud horse as well, and seemed to really only respond to Honoka, and abruptly complained when someone else tried to ride him. She trained him for all sorts of events, but mainly enjoyed just being with him and riding him, and he seemed to enjoy it just the same. Because her parents owned a lot of land, they could spend an entire day just riding.
Honoka found less time to live at home when she was in school. She tended to enjoy them both almost equally though, and was a very bright student. Her parents sent her to the best schools of course. She only ever got A’s on her reports, and her parents were both proud of her. The girl liked being home more so usually, but had plenty of friends at school too. Her idea of a weekend was still spending time at her parents’ stables though.
Honoka entered into the Ouran High School when she was 14, and only a few months later she turned 15.Controller's Information

Mai was expectant. This trap had to work - all of them did. She was more than fairly surprised when the pirate captain practically blew right threw the trap. It hardly had any effect on him, other than that now she had undoubtedly blown her cover. She tried to hide herself better from their view, but it would not matter too greatly. One had been ensnared by her trap and had cut himself loose from it. The Kairouseki bomb showed them that she was either above them, and threw the bomb at them, or that it was another trap.
The woman grumbled to herself slightly as they slipped away, virtually un-scarred. By now the docks would be teaming with the outbreak of a fight between pirates and Marines. A short gust of wind rustled her hair as she looked down at the two kunai she treasured most. Her hands gripped the handles, and pulled them from their resting place. The kunai were both light, their innards replaced with poison waiting to enter the veins of their next victim. Even a little would paralyze anything, and enough would kill them.
Mai launched herself. She landed many yards away from where she had sat, and now stood closer still to the docks. Without the loss of step, she bounded forward again, knees bending enough to lighten the impact to nothing, then springing up again to bring her to a full sprint. Before long she was at the docks, and she had been correct about the fighting. It would have been a smoother escape if the captain's foolish crew had stayed within their ship instead of taking on the Marines.
The Marine contemplated her next move within seconds, and figured the best move to make would be to try to just paralyze all the pirates before they did any more harm. If she missed the captain and the other pirate with him, then he couldn't get anywhere without a crew at least. So she set her plan into action. The woman bit one of her kunai to allow a free hand for a moment to take three smoke bombs from her pouch. She then proceeded to throw the bombs to areas of the brawl where they would cover the most distance individually among the pirates.
Once she knew she would be covered, she moved in quickly. She had to complete this before the ocean's breeze blew the smoke away. She disappeared into the smoke, closest to a man who seemed to be taking down a lot of pirates by himself with just a few strokes of his sword and only one arm, and continued to strike with her silver kunai at the other pirates.
