::Akane Takahashi::
Type: Original Age: 15 Gender: Female Sexuality: Heterosexual Crushes: Excuse me? That information is classified sorry. Face Claim: Kosame Hisakaki from Wish Upon a Star
Appearance:
Overall Apperance
Akane stands rather tall at 5'5 weighing at about 135 pounds, give or take a few pounds. She stands taller then most of her family and has few muscles, though they aren't visible in her arms or legs for that matter. With Akane, her looks could easily deceive anyone by a first glance.
Her blonde hair hangs around her knees, stopping just above her knees. Her blue eyes are large and clear, with thin, black lashes surrounding them. Her skin is slightly tanned and clear from all acne. Akane is hardly ever seen smiling and a frown is usually in place of the lost smile. Though, she is able to fake a smile when needed.
Dressing Style
Akane hates those puffy yellow dresses. She despises anything brightly colored or puffy, such as the school dresses. Though, as much as she hates them, she does abide to the rules of the school. Though, she doesn't always where the uniform correctly though. Most of the time, her dress wrinkled, her ribbon tied loosely and her shoes slightly off.
Out of school is when the true Akane comes out. She is truly a rocker chick. Even with her high class status, she's usually seen out in ripped t-shirts and ripped jeans. Black, red and white are her normal colors. Her outfits change day to day, as well as her headbands. One day it'll be brown, the next black, the day after red. She has an endless collection of headbands as well as shoes.
Most of the time, her shoes are kept at home, locked in a safe with her headbands. Akane is an advent shopper and enjoys shoe shopping the most. She holds a large variety of shoes and headbands. Her shoes range from flats, to sneakers, to high heels to sandals to flip-flops.
Personality:
Like most at Ouran, Akane was raised in a life of luxury and never ending flows of money. Though, unlike most, she keeps her head straight. Akane thinks straight and keeps her head on and deflated. She doesn't allow anything to go to her head. She likes to keep everything simple and dislikes people overdoing things, much like her parents did when she was growing up. She's down-to-Earth and blunt, very blunt. She'll never lie to you, not now, not ever. Unless in a life-or-death situation of course, then the lies will come out with no end. Akane has curiosity with no end. She's always asking questions and wondering about things. She constantly thinks about the meaning of life, which is something that intrigues her to no end.
Her parents raised her like a lady with manners and all, but over the years the polite little girl she once was disappeared. She became more rebellious. She never did anything too serious, but her parents treated her like she was a monster. Over the years, she grew sad and lost. Her everlasting smile replaced with an everlasting frown. Her parents never stopped treating her like a monster, but they died down after a while. They taught her several instruments and taught her to sing, well. She was easily musically inclined and learned each instrument with ease. Because of this, she is a music addict and is constantly downloading songs from the internet, both English and Japanese. The instruments she learned were as follows Guitar -both electric and acoustic-, piano, violin, drums, keyboard -yes the piano and keyboard are two different instruments-, saxophone -tenor and alto-, as well as several other smaller instruments.
Akane, like most teenagers, doesn't like to be different. Though with her it's slightly harder, not to be different. She's a synesthete. She's multi-synesthesic, as well. She has Grapheme to Color synesthesia. Grapheme to Color synesthesia is where she sees numbers and letters as colors. To her 'A' would be the color red, while 'Z' would be a purple color, and the same goes with numbers. 1 would be pink, while 5 would be orange. The second type of synesthesia she has is Sound to Color synesthesia. Sound to Color is much like Grapheme to Color, but still different. Instead of seeing things different, when she hears a specific sound, she sees a color with a shape. So, a plate falling onto the floor would be like a flash of blue, while a melody would be a rainbow colored spider web branching out.
With her condition, its harder for her to be normal, which tends to annoy her at times. Though, she is more aware of her surroundings with her 'talents'. Akane is more afraid of normal things though, like thunder storms, or being in a crowded room. She is afraid that she'll confuse the real world with what she sees. She likes quiet places, or places with less chatter at least.
Akane is also not the type to like to share things with people. She likes to keep to herself, but not completely though. She'll open up, but only if your a friend. Though, there are things that she does like to keep to herself at times.
History:
Akane was born to Chiharu and Ryuu Takahashi. Both were very rich, and lived a life of luxury. They had the exact same plan for Akane as well. She was treated like a princess from most of her life, until she turned five. At the age of five, she started showing signs that she was different from most children. It worried her parents greatly, but they figured that is was just a stage or something. The thing that broke them was when Chiharu was home with Akane and she was writing a letter to her mother in America. Akane leaned over her shoulder and saw the writing. Though she was only five, she knew how to spell several words and corrected one her mother's mistakes, just not in the way Chiharu expected. She pointed to the word priority and said that it didn't look right and that her mother had spelled it wrong. Chiharu simpely smiled at the child and asked her how, Akane replied with 'because the black doesn't go with the orange, red and yellow.'. Chiharu was confused with her child, and took her to a doctor right away, that was when she was diagnosed with synesthesia.
Chiharu was told that her daughter wasn't going to die, just going to be different from the rest of the children, which Chiharu was fine with. The years went by and then her daughter was diagnosed with another type of synesthesia, which Chiharu was also fine with. Though, when Akane turned seven, that's when she started to worry. Ryuu and Chiharu could no longer control the wild child that they had raised. She became rebellious, not something that the two parents were hoping for. Akane did keep several traits from her childhood. Her parents stopped treating her like the princess they wanted her to be, and started treating her like she was a monster. It continued for several years, well two to be exact. Even though she wasn't what they wanted as child, they still treated her kindly after the two years, by that time she had already started Ouran. Over the years in the elementary school, her personality didn't change, but she still kept few traits.
She had heard of the Host Club when she started junior high school, at the time, but didn't really care for them much. She would get dragged to the third music room by her friends only a daily bases, but she would leave when they started drooling over the boys. Akane spends most of her time in the second or first music room. Or anywhere the Host Club isn't really. She doesn't have anything against them, or anything. She just doesn't like the noise that comes from around them, which tends to throw her off because of all the flashes of colored and shapes before her eyes.

Sample RP:
Akane walked the halls of Ouran. It was a large school and extremely extravagant, but it wasn't something that Akane was too fond of. She like simplicity and less extravagant thing, but this was her school. So she had to suck it up. She really didn't mind, the only thing she seriously disliked, was the uniforms. The stupid, fluffy, puffy, yellow dresses. It was probably the only downside to the school, next to the screaming girls because of the Host Club. Akane rolled her eyes at the thought of the Club, it was a bad club. She didn't understand the point of it all. It was a bunch of boys making girls drool over their, their, their, their what? Akane wasn't even sure of it all.
She breathed outward at the thought. She needed to practice. which one did she need to practice with? Piano? No, it was the Alto saxophone that she needed to practice with. Yeah, so she started on her way to a music room, that was not the third one, that was until she was practically kidnapped by her friends. They talked on and on about the guys of the Host Club, who were pushovers and practically play-boys. Even so, she went along with the girls. Until the door, when her friends went to open the doors. Akane ditched them and zoomed down the hall to another music room. She was leaning against the door to the first music room, breathing heavily. She did it all the time, but she could never get used to it.
Turning around to place a hand on the door handle, she took a few more heavy breaths. She opened the door, and didn't find what she wanted. She had just opened the door to the Host Club. Damn, that's right. The only reason she was friends, with the girls' were because they were smart. Akane smirked and stepped into the dreadful room with one last sigh.
