Appearance:

Aika is on the petite side. She is about 5 feet tall exactly (although she would like to claim she is a few inches taller than that) and weighs roughly 52.2 kg (about 115 lbs). She has green eyes which are one of her most outstanding feature besides her obvious green hair. She has the face of a child but when she becomes serious her face takes on a wisdom that is only seen on someone who is quite older. She has a slim build and isn't very busty, but she is quite happy with her size (except her height). She has slender legs of a model. Her hands are small and delicate, perfect for holding a cup like a princess sitting down for tea.

From a young age her mother has been pushing the latest styles at Aika. She developed a liking for skirts and dresses and on a typical day can be found in a sundress. She will only wear jeans in cold weather, and even then she would normally be in a skirt with leggings. Her favorite color is green and any color that compliments it so she is usually in a color that fits well with her green eyes and hair.

At school she is proud to wear the traditional girl uniform. She especially like that it's color fits well with her usual style. Her skirt upon closer inspection is about 1 inch shorter than its' original length, due to her mother thinking the length was messing with the full layout of Aika's "look". Aika went with it and no one has really paid much attention to it anyway.

Personality:

She is a quiet girl who is easily embarrassed. She has a hard time talking to others at first but can gradually open up to others. When she does open up though, she still stays a bit on the quiet side. Most of the time she is looked over because she doesn't really speak out for herself.

Although she is usually very quiet inside she has a strong personality. She has a strong sense of responsibility and of justice but lacks the boldness to come out and defend herself. Due to this, she has closed herself off from others.

She can be quite stubborn when it comes to affairs of the heart. Once she feels like she loves or likes someone, they become her only. She can't look away from them, although she is too shy to actually confess her feelings outright. This usually results in her looking from far off and eventually a broken heart.

She has a general knowledge in that she has a great short-term memory but sadly, after a week or two, she tends to forget what she learns unless it is something that she uses everyday.

Aika does have moments when she will suddenly seem to burst with confidence but these usually are single statements that are usually yelled like bottled up emotions that suddenly spill out of her at once.

She also has a hard time saying no to others. To see Aika doing someone's neglected duties is usual and even considered normal. Her timid nature keeps her from really saying no to anyone and plus she figures that maybe if she does things for her fellow classmates that maybe she'll get a friend but she has only become the errand runner of her class, sadly.

She actually has a hard time smiling around others as well. Although she does have a cute and friendly smile she isn't usually seen smiling to anyone except to herself when you catch her thinking of someone she cares deeply for or of her dog. When you don't catch her at these moments she comes off as someone lost in thought or sometimes sad or depressed, although the actual case may be entirely opposite. Many times she is confronted by teachers to ask if she is being bullied simply because she rarely smiles openly to others.

Around her crush, Mori-sempai, she tends to become a bit more open than she does with anyone else (excluding Doegie). She actually is able to say a sentence or two but it usual doesn't concern eye contact on her part. When she sees Mori-sempai looking out for Honey she tends to admire Mori even more, usual leading to her blushing. Later on, if she needs it, she pulls on the strength that she saw in Mori and helps push herself through obstacles.

Around Mori-sempai's other admirers she usually fades into the background but she is usually fine with that. As long as she can see him, she feels like she can pull through whatever is bothering her.

History:

Her mother was a foreign model from America and her father is a famous movie director. She grew up in a big house with little company besides her dog, Doegie, a border collie with a lively personality. From the age of 10, she was under constant time management. She had voice lessons, violin lessons, ballet lessons, acting lessons, along with her educational tutors and, at one point, modeling lessons. Her mother, upon discovering that her daughter had no talent for violin, ballet, or acting, gave up on those and began to focus on her voice lessons and modeling. When it became apparent that Aika wouldn't be blessed with her mother's graceful height, modeling was dropped.

Her mother tried many things to get Aika interested in anything to do with being a celebrity but Aika didn't really like any of those things besides singing. It became her only enjoyment although she did tend to be a bit quiet, even when she sang.

Her green hair wasn't always green however. She was actually born with beautiful chestnut brown hair but at a young age, her mother dyed it green to match her eyes in hopes that it would separate her from competing girls. It worked too well, Aika didn't get anymore attention than anyone else, except for her father and mother connections. Her mother was going to dye it back but Aika had liked being seen, although it wasn't the kind her mother liked, so she kept it green, it has become a part of who she is and one of the things she admires about herself besides her matching green eyes.

By this time, she was attending Ouran High School and was having a hard time fitting in with the others her age. She tended to go to her classes then return home, until she stumbled upon the music room. That was when she first discovered the Host Club. It was there that she first saw Mori hosting for her fellow students. She liked him because of his silent strength, a trait she shared, paired with a trait she could only dream of having. She admired him for that strength and found herself attending the Host Club whenever she could.

Aika stood nervously in front of the music rooms door. She had seen a few girls with cheery auras practically tripping over themselves to get inside. Aika had nearly been run over by them. Luckily she had managed to avoid being dragged with the crowd into the room used by the Host Club.

She fidgeted rubbing one of her black shoes on the tip of her other with her hands in front of her. This had become a daily occurrence. She would stand out here for a few minutes before she built up the courage to join the other girls in the music room.

She took in a breath and clenched her small, delicate hands into fists at her sides. She felt herself turning red when she thought about the guys on the other side of the door and the breath left her, leaving her with no confidence to step through the door. Aika looked up and down the hall feeling ashamed over herself.

She heard the laughing and chatting of the girls with the hosts inside and she pushed herself to take a step forward and open the door...

As well, in the personality you don't mention her attraction to Mori-senpai, though you do in the history. Since it's a rather important part of her personality it should be mentioned.
