::Suichi Kururugi::
Type: Original
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Crushes: ---
Face Claim: ---; found on photobucket
Appearance:Suichi is not very big for his age, although he still has a little bit of growing to do, he probably won't grow much more. He has inherited a mix of his father's tall genes, and his mother's short genes. The boy stands roughly 5'6"( cm) and weighs in at about 130 lbs ( kg). His hair is a shade of light brown, and it's length ends to about the base of his neck. His hair is also naturally straight, thin, and tends to stick up on its own from time to time (unless he does something about it). In humid weather, said hair is often uncontrollable and poofy, often driving him mad to no ends.
Suichi has a naturally young, soft, and gentle looking face. While his sister is noted to resemble their mother, he looks more like his father. He only has his mother's hair color (or darn close to it), and her eye color in terms of those features. His eyes are green in color, and are often warm to look at. His lips are a bit thin, stretching out only so far to give him that look. Those lips are usually in the shape of some kind of smile, or flat line. His face is usally adorned with a small smile when in the company of others. If not, he will have the look of thought, or seriousness to it. When seen lost in thought, with his eyes staring blankly. As for facial hair, Suichi has none. If anything of the sort was to pop on his face, he shaves it off. Much like his sister, the boy is a bit pale in skin tone most of the time. Enough to the point, that he is usually paler than Yumi.
When not in his school uniform, Suichi can mostly be found in clothes he deems casual and comfortable. He doesn't like anything too expensive, unless there is an event that calls for such clothing. Because of his tastes, this usually includes sneakers, jeans, a shirt, and a jacket if it is needed. However, when there is the need, he can be found dressed in a suit.
Personality:Suichi is gentle and polite by nature. He isn't one to go and pick a fight or really bother anyone without reason. In fact, he isn't one to hurt a fly. He does what he can to avoid conflict, and is the one to discourage others from this kind of behavior. Suichi is known to look things over, and let things pass him by. Even if it means he won't get an apology. He doesn't really care what other people say to him, or if they are treating him without the respect he deserves. Instead, he usually just walks away from the situation. This makes hiim seem passive at times. Although he doesn't seem to have much of a temper, and it is rare that he will lash out with words, or any type of spite, it can happen, as his patience with others can only go so far.
Suichi is more mature and sensible when compared to his sister, Yumi. While he isn't very shy or timid, he isn't very outgoing or anything like that. He is always seen using his manners, and will address others with respect, if they like it or not. He'll even treat those he dispises with some sort of respect, even if he himself doesn't like it. His overall personality makes him seem friendly, caring, and warm. He will talk, and make friends with just about anyone as long as its easy enough. He likes people, and will go out of his way to help someone if they really need it. When it comes to friends, he treats them almost as if they were family.
The boy isn't too fond of school or school work. He manages to get good grades, but he truely loathes it. He doesn't like the idea of waking up early (he's not a morning person), and going to a building with a bunch of other people just to be bored. In truth, school is boring for him, and it doesn't catch his attention easily. He does what he can concerning school work to please his father, and nothing more than to be a good heir to the company. The company, however, is another thing the boy isn't too fond of. Suichi, in all honesty, doesn't want to inherit the Kururugi Cosmetic Label. Instead, he'd rather go to school and become something else that interests him.
When it comes to family, Suichi is much like his sister in this aspect. He does what he is told, and gets along with them pretty well. Although, he does get along relatively well with his new step-mother and step-sisters. The only issue to getting along with family, is that while he does tend to get along with his father, the boy doesn't like him. In fact, the boy would rather if the man wasn't around.
Suichi doesn't have a big sweet tooth, or a big appetite to begin with. Therefore he willingly gives his sweets to others who ask, and sometimes just hands them over without them even needing to ask. As for food, he tends to eat just enough to keep himself healthy, and in his weight range. He will not overstuff himself, or just eat because it looks delicious. Although if one had to ask, he loves rice and seafood. As for a weakness, his weakness comes from his love of books. He doesn't like school, but he loves to read.
Yumi, however, can change him around quite a bit. While he normally doesn't seem like it, Suichi can get quite protective and bossy when his sister is involved. He believes he knows what is best, and won't take her disobeying him for an answer. If he says that she shouldn't jump off a cliff, then he expects her to listen. The girl can be a frustrating topic at times for him, as she won't listen. Once he becomes frustrated with her, he won't hesitate to scold and snap at his sister, especially when she goes too far. Whatever the case may be, he is just looking out for her, and adores his sister to no ends.
When it comes to girls, he is pretty normal towards them. He'll smile, wave, and even talk to them without a problem. The real issue, however, is when he crosses a girl he finds attractive. Suichi is a blushing, babbling, and fumbling fool when it comes down to it. He won't be able to talk normally, and he doesn't ever seem to find the right words to say. All in all, he can be awkward, and does his best to hide from her once he realizes his attraction.
History:Suichi was born to Taro Kururugi and Aya Inoue as their first child, and only son. The couple had met at a debut of new mineral make-up and skin-care products. The two had come to fall in love and marry. He was born shortly after they had married. It was only a year later that his parents had another child, this time a girl. A girl that they named Yumi. His father was the next in line of the leadership of the Kururugi's family business--a cosmetic label.
While still young, a mere four years old, his parent's split with a divorce. The two had started to fight, over anything and everything. Soon after the split, her mother had gotten a new job. The job required that they move to the United States. From then on, it was just the three of them--Mom, Suichi, and Yumi, with the occassional Miss Rivera watching them. They lived off of what their mother managed to make, and what money their father happened to send. Not that it really mattered much to the boy. While he was no stranger to his father, he didn't really care as much as Yumi did. When the man came to visit, Suichi let Yumi take up all of the attention and time. When his visits turned into phone calls, again, Suichi allowed Yumi, once again, to take up all the time.
Suichi went to school with his sister, Yumi, only a grade higher. Out of the only schools he went to, Elementary and Middle, were public. He had never attended private school, because it was his mother's decision. She didn't want them to go to the same kind of schools she did. She had wanted her children to have more freedom, and for this, he was thankful. It was how Suichi spent a good bulk of his life. Going to school, coming home, doing homework, and spending time with his mom. The same cycle.
After his sister had turned sixteen is when the accident had happened. Aya, his mother, had been caught in the middle of a police shoot out. Unfortunately, the woman died from blood loss in the hospital shortly after. Without anywhere to go, Suichi and his sister were sent to Japan to live with their father. It was upon their arrival that they learned a few new things: his father had remarried, and they had two children together. Unlike Yumi, however, Suichi didn't have many issues accepting or coming to like the new members to the family. Against Suichi's wishes to go to a public school, he was being forced to attend a private school--Ouran Academy.

Suichi covered his mouth with the back of his hand as he yawned. It was the first day of school, and he already wanted to get back into bed. Then again, he didn't sleep much the night before. Although Yumi couldn't sleep because she was too excited (who gets excited about school? She was the only person he knew that did...), and he was too nervous. The boy had only gotten about two hours sleep. He would bet just about anything that there were dark circles under his eyes. He knew they were there.
He didn't like the situation that they were in, the reason why they had to attend Ouran Academy now, but there was nothing he could do about it. Nothing at all. As much as he wished they could have stayed in America, he knew there was no way they could have stayed. Although he didn't like school very much, he did enjoy reading. It was one of the few pleasures in life that he'd come to realize--early on, too. Suichi glanced down at the book in his lap, eyeing the book's title. To Kill a Mockingbird
He read the title a few more times. It was written in English, and was a good book. Or so he had been told. It was a book that was assigned as a summer reading project for his old school. It was an assignment he didn't have to worry about anymore, but he felt the need to read it. Tired or not, a good book would keep him awake. Suichi opened the book, flipping through a few pages to find the first paragraph...
"Susssshiii!" Came a voice from infront of him. Suddenly, a peice of toast clonked him on his head, and landed on the first page of the book. He couldn't resist looking up and giving his 'attacker' a look of amusement. This early... and she was this happy? No, he should've expected this. This WAS Yumi afterall--she wouldn't be herself if she didn't do that this early. "Have you heard of the Host Club? What is it?" She asked, and he blinked back at her. Why was she asking him that? He sighed, before running fingers through his hair. It wasn't humid today, it it stayed in place. Thank the heavens.
"Eh, something in the music room the girls are fond of. Group of guys in there or something. I don't think you should bother. Not worth it, Yu." He replied, voice serious before he went back to the book. He read the first few words, before realizing he couldn't concentrate on the book anymore. His sister was curious of this Host Club. A club their new step-sister had mentioned to them. This was bad. Really bad. He didn't trust such a club, and she should stay away from it. He would have to keep an eye on her now. Yes. This is what he decided without much thought.
