Keira headed to school. Today was a little bit better in some ways. Keira didn't have as many jitters as her first day of school. She wasn't as nervous and knew what to expect. The bad thing was that she knew what to expect.
Everyone had already labeled her as one of the lower class people at the school. She only had money. She didn't have the bloodline and she didn't have the looks. Keira would have to work hard to impress them.
Already many people from the school worked hard and had good grades. They had the best education after all. Keira wasn't going to get anywhere with brains. She had to work her way up the social ladder by being someone everyone wanted to be around.
Sure she was normally pretty socialable in an environment she was comfortable in but from now on she had to work at it. She had to actually watch every little thing she said, find the most popular students and befriend them, and try to not be obvious that she was trying to climb the social ladder.
Keira honestly didn't care about climbing it. She'd rather make a few close friends and have some fun. Of course her mother wanted it, so Keira would do anything she asked if it made her happy.
The young blond needed to be confident. She was riding in the white limo on her way to school. She needed to show everyone that she wasn't going to be shy like she was the first day. She was going to show everyone she was proud and fun.
Once the limo stopped instead of rushing out so she didn't feel awkward for having someone open the door she waited like a young lady of society should act. Her driver was a bit surprised but nonetheless opened the door for her. She stepped out and shook her mane of golden hair a bit. The strands caught the sunlight perfectly.
She gave a winner smile to everyone. She then quickly made her way towards her first class. She was in her second year. The young woman entered and sat down at her desk. She then complimented the girl next to her. "Oh my gosh! You're hair is so shiny! What do you use to condition it and give it such a gloss?" she asked her.
The girl blushed slightly and smiled. "Oh I just use a home mixture. The ingredient that gives it it's shine is honey."
The girl and Keira conversed for a bit. Keira would need at least one friend to start off. This girl seemed friendly enough. At least she hoped. Though there were others in her classroom too.
