Being The New Girl Is No Fun [TAMAKI]

Autumn woke up that morning yawning as she sat up in her king sized bed. She got out of bed and went into her bathroom. She turned on the shower to the temperature she liked it at. Autumn waited in the bathroom and Autumn undressed and stepped in the shower sighing as the water hit her back.

She wet her hair and put shampoo in it and she scrubbed it gently into her scalp. She shaved her underarms and her legs while the shampoo sat in her hair. She rinsed out the shampoo a few seconds later making sure all of it was out of her hair. She put conditioner on the ends of her hair and she washed her body. She rinsed off her body and the conditioner out of her hair and turned the handles to the 'off' position and wrapped her hair up in a fluffy white towel and wrapped a fluffy yellow towel around her body.

She got dressed in her school uniform and slipped on knee high white socks and her school shoes on her feet. She unwrapped her hair and dried it completely and straightened it to perfection. She then took a piece from either side of her head and braided it back loosely and tied it off with a yellow ribbon. Autumn grabbed her school bag and she went downstairs and out to her family's limo and got in. She was completely nervous seeing as she was a transfer student this year and most of the people here at Ouran had known each other since they were really young. She got out of the car and walked into the school and to her first class. She went through the day like everyone else and when the last bell rang, she put all her notebooks into her schoolbag and sighed. She already had homework and it was only the first day of school.

When she had been in class, she had heard some of the girls talking about the Host Club. She was curious as to what it was, and she went outside and saw the limo waiting. She put her schoolbag inside and asked the driver to tell her grandmother that she would be home later. The driver nodded and left, and she went back inside and saw a group of girls walking in the same direction. She followed and hung back for about ten minutes. She saw one of the doors was left wide open. She hid behind the other door shyly, and she saw someone and she noticed that he was very popular and gorgeous. She gasped and stayed hidden until she heard a voice and she looked up.

Being King of the Host Club was a rough job, but it was a job that had to be done. In a world starved of beauty, those who had it needed to share it with the world. As a boy who was a sight of perfection of beauty, that gave him an even greater responsibility to do so. Besides, he always loved to put a smile on the face of the ladies, and there was nothing better than using his position as King of the Host Club to do so. So far the day had been what usually happened; he had his regular customers come and sit with him, bringing him some home-made goods or some other kind of gift that he would graciously accept. Nothing showed affection more than something made from the heart…or bought (he was rich enough to accept sometimes a person was a better shopper than a crafter, but it didn’t diminish the thought the slightest to him).

It was during one of these meetings he noticed what looked like a girl peeking into the club from behind the door of the music room. Oh, was it yet another shy guest, unsure if whether or not to take that leap into the world of beauty that stood before her? It was an understandable fear of course; beauty could be intimidating after all. As the king of course, he did his best to open the door for those who wished to enter this world.

”Excuse me for a moment ladies. We seem to have a new guest that needs a little push.”

Standing up, Tamaki made his way over to the door. Spotting the girl, Tamaki leaned onto the door with one hand, pulling a rose out of (pretty much nowhere) to hand to the lady. Leaning forward, he prepared himself for his introduction.

”Why hello there madame, why are you sitting outside all alone? It would be a shame to let a beauty such as yours be viewed by nothing but the air of the hallways. Beauty such as yours should be placed on a pedestal, for us humble servants to admire.”

Ending his little speech was of course his award winning smile, filled with sincerity and kindness and pearly white teeth galore.

Autumn watched a blond haired boy walk over to her and her curiosity was piqued to say the least. She bit her lower lip taking the rose from him as he began his speech. She smiled and shifted nervously. She lifted the rose to her nose and inhaled smelling the fragrance of the pretty flower.

"I was out here all alone because it's my first day here at Ouran and I was curious about this club of yours." She blushed a bit and stepped out from behind the for and stood next to him. "Well I guess the only way to find out would be to enter the room, isn't that right?" She walked in and tucked the rose behind her ear letting it peek out from behind her long brown hair.

She walked in and smiled at the other girls of Ouran and sat at a table and crossed her feet at the ankles and picked up a teacup and took a sip of the tea and set the cup back down a moment later. She sighed allowing the warm honey flavored liquid to slide down her throat.

While she seemed to enjoy the rose, Tamaki noticed she was still a little nervous about the whole situation she was now finding herself in. That was fine, many first timers were insecure and unsure about the whole thing. As a host, however, his job was to make her as comfortable as possible, and once she relaxed and lightened up she would find herself enjoying the Host Club like all the others. She was a new student, which made things even more interesting, and her curiosity brought her to the club. These were the kind of guests Tamaki loved; new people he knew nothing about who were curious of the beauty standing before them.

”That’s the only way to find out anything really, to jump straight in. After you, my lady.” Tamaki replied, bowing a little and using his arm to guide the girl to one of the available tables. He was probably messing up his appointment schedule, but whatever; he was courting a new guest so Kyouya would forgive him most likely.

After the girl sat down and drank her tea, Tamaki sat down across from her. It was time to start through the introductions and everything, to loosen the girl up and see how things went. Most importantly, it was time to try and figure out any hobbies and interests that the girl might have that the club could use to make her experience any better.

”Since this is your first day, let me introduce myself. I am Tamaki Suoh, second year and the ‘king’ of the Host Club. But I am nothing but a humble peasant in the face of a radiant queen such as you? Please, what should I call you my highness?” Tamaki said, gently grabbing her hand as he knelt for dramatic effect.
