Unfortunately for Haruhi, her pleas regarding separating the club from her home life fell on the deaf ears of a man lost in a daydream. At the very least, however, even lost in a daydream, Tamaki had a sense something was disturbing the happy atmosphere that he had developed within the last few moments. By the time Haruhi had finished sighing, Tamaki was snapping back to reality.
”Hmm, did you say something Haruhi?”
His mind tried to figure out what it was that Haruhi was saying. Somewhere in his fantasy he probably had a sense of what it was that the boy had said. Unfortunately, he really couldn’t figure out what it was. Most likely it would have had something to do with going to his father’s house. Hmm, what could Haruhi have said that gave him a bad feeling… Maybe it was him….rejecting the idea?! Why would he do such a thing (ignoring the separation of lives reasoning of Haruhi)? Was it that Haruhi lived in such a poor neighborhood, with broken windows and run-down shacks that he was embarrassed to let the Host Club come visit his home!? In Tamaki’s mind, that had to be about the only reason such an issue could occur; it didn’t occur to him that Haurhi would NOT want his father to meet him.
Turning around rather quickly and grabbing onto Haruhi’s shoulders, Tamaki in his “oh so wise” sort of behavior, solemnly began to speak.
”Wait, nevermind, I know what it is. Don’t worry, if you’re embarrassed to show the Host Club the rundown shack you live in, then I’ll keep it a secret and agree to not bring the club there until you wish us to.”
With such restraint on his urges done, Tamaki let go of Haruhi and just started heading towards the music room.
”So anyways, that little aside done with, let’s get to those dance lessons!”
