She had to admit, the school was pretty.
Haruhi walked, books held with one arm, as she looked around the place. The gardens were very neatly kept, despite the fact that she'd never seen any gardeners or gatekeepers or any staff apart from professors and lunch ladies. Well, at least it was peaceful enough. These rich kids really had their locations messed up. The gardens and common areas were mostly empty and quiet while the libraries were always full and loud.
The girl let out a sigh, running a hand through her short hair while holding her books with her free arm. She kept walking, eyes closed and a frown on her face. She was exhausted. Who would had thought working as a host was so tiring? Well, the other guys didn't seem as tired, considering they didn't have to clean, cook, buy things and tended to push Tamaki senpai away when they wanted. She was starting to think the 'leader' title was something he attached to himself, rather than have the others give him the position. They didn't seem to respect him much, not that Haruhi could blame them. He was starting to get tiresome for her too.
Perhaps Haruhi shouldn't had been walking around with her eyes closed in what could easily be a forest. Sure, the plants were pretty and neatly placed, but that didn't mean that you couldn't trip if you weren't seeing where you were going. Which was exactly what happened. Not only that, but there seemed to be levels here. The next bit should had been recorded, because it seemed it would had been popular in any network.
Haruhi tripped, or more like slipped, her foot failing under her, making her slid, first backwards, and then forwards as she tried to regain balance. The fall wasn't huge, but it certainly was frightening and earned a yelped from the girl dressed like a boy. But it hadn't hurt as much as she'd expected.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw why. She fell on someone. Oops. So there was Haruhi, on top of someone, blinking down at them in shock with wide brown eyes.

It was truly a lovely day. The sun shining, the doves singing, and a cool breeze to fend off any heat. It was 'study' period for the students but, like him, to most it was just free time. Since the weather today was cooler then it had been in a few days he escaped outdoors to enjoy the weather.
James had planned the read at first, had even opened the book and reads a few pages, but pride and prejudice couldn't hold his interest for so long currently. Closing the book he neatly put it back in his back and laid in the soft green grass. He spent a while just staring at the lovely colors of the grass and the best flowers anyone had seen.
With the heat warming his face he toed off his shoes and socks to feel the earth beneath his feet. Sighing in pleasure he closed his eyes just basking in the sun like a lizard till the bell would ring later. He had just started dozing off when he heard a yelp which made him slowly open his violet eyes before he himself emitted a painful gasp.
It wasn't that whatever landed on him was super heavy or anything it was just that James was overly weak and the thing landed awkwardly on him causing great discomfort. Painfully slow he cracked open one eye to see a brown mop of hair before it moved to show a face with brown eyes staring in shock. He gasped out,
"If you could kindly get off me that would be a great help." The gay male tried to smile but it was hard with the weight pressing on his chest.

Haruhi blinked a couple more times at the boy, until he spoke. "Ah! I'm sorry!" She hurriedly moved to get down from him, until she was on all fours by his side. "I hope I didn't startle you much... or hurt you. I wasn't looking where I was going..." She sat on her legs, looking sideways. Her books were scattered, along with...one she hadn't been carrying.
"You were reading?" she wondered, picking up said book. It wasn't that the book itself was odd. It was the fact that there was a student, just like her, trying to look for some quiet.
Haruhi rubbed her eyes, trying to smile. "You tried the libraries too?" She asked, "I've been meaning to study all day long, but can't find any piece and quiet." She scratched the skin just under her eye. Something was bothering her, and it was starting to turn red, though she couldn't know.
"I hope I didn't interrupt any studying of your own."

James blinked his lavender eyes slowly feeling it be easier and easier to breath more comfortably. He shook his head slowly as he pushed his upper half of his body to a sitting position though his legs stayed spread out in front of him.
He turned to see that all the others books were scattered around them along with his own. He stacked the brown haired males books and went to grab his own when he noticed the other held it in his grasp.
"Yes i was till this wonderful weather out here just made it to tempting to resist a nap." James said with all honesty. "The library hold nothing compared to the quiet, warmth, and beauty of the grounds." He replied to his question thinking it also replied to the next thing the other spoke of.
"Honey your eye is reddening let me see." James grasped the others chin and moved his hand to inspect the reddening eye. It was pure instinct to just take care of this boy he did not even know the name of.
"I was just relaxing on this fine day don't worry." He said as he checked the brown eyes to see that his contact had messed up and took it out lightly.
"Just your contact. You really should take them out a bit more often, relax your eyes."

Haruhi smiled at the man's conclusion. "You're right. The weather is good." She looked up at the clear sky, just to see the white clouds gently passing. It was warm, but not enough to be a bother. In fact, the wind blew gently enough to keep anyone outside cool. If that wasn't enough, the plants around created a humid environment, keeping everything on the cool side. She could see why it would be pleasant to take a nap under a tree. She closed her eyes, letting the breeze move the little hair she kept. It certainly was pleasant.
Ah, but her eye was stinging now, though she didn't want to be rude with her new acquaintance, so she kept ignoring the pain. "I went through the same thing." She admitted, frowning at the thought. "Most students use the libraries as if they were recreational spaces..." Though they were, in a way.
He mentioned her eye and Haruhi tried blinking, but it hurt too much. Instead, she closed her good eye, letting him check her other. Any other girl in her condition would have blushed at how close he was getting, but Haruhi wasn't just any other girl, and this kind of interaction didn't bother her any more than him keeping his distance and talking.
Haruhi kept still, letting him work, a mere "Mhm." Coming from her as an answer, afraid that if she talked, she would move too much and end up hurting herself.
"Ah, thank you." She said with a smile, rubbing the eye that had been bothering with the back of her hand. "I just got them so I'm not used to them yet..." More rubbing and she sat back, frowning slightly at the thought.
"I would rather use my glasses but I'm not allowed to wear them at the club." She said, mostly to herself. "Maybe I should carry them around, just in case." More rubbing, and she leaned to take the contact from him. She held it with one finger, glaring at it as if it was an enemy, before looking up at the boy. His image was fuzzy now, only good eye to see him. The other still stung, still looked red, and she was sure it would stay like that all day. Maybe the professors would allow her to sit up front for the rest of the day, though she doubted that would go well with Hikaru and Kaoru...
"Ah, I'm sorry. I'm Fujioka Haruhi. First grade. I just started here."

James laughed at the others little joke, though it was so true, about the schools library. His white hair and the others brown was tousled in the breeze. He knew his hair messed up from it but couldn't fix it with the contact in his hand still.
"Any time dear." He understood how contacts hurt, he had worn some a few times in cosplay and it hurts like hell when you wear them to long without being used to them. When the other started rubbing his eye James had to stop from squealing, he was just so cute he wanted to hug him and squeeze him.
"Well a club doesn't last all day and I don't see why not, glasses can be sexy you know? It might be smart through to carry them, it's better to look 'funny' then be red eyed." He air quotation the word funny.
When he stopped rubbing his eye and looked up he saw how red the eye looked and dug through his bag and pulled out both his glasses case. Opening his own to show red frames which he placed on his nose and smiled. He handed the other the other case and said,
"See I think I look rather dashing myself. You can borrow those, don't worry they are simple black squared glasses."
When the brown haired one said his name he through deeply for a while to think where he had heard that name before but nothing popped up. He shook off the daze and inclined his head in a small bow saying, "Hello I am James Luciant and a first year as well."

Haruhi blinked at him. "I guess you're right." She said, looking up at the clouds. "Though I think I'll still get scolded if I'm seen around the grounds with my glasses on." She rubbed her eye a bit, since it still stung a little. It was much better now though, considering the contact was out and even though she couldn't actually see.
She laughed at his self praising, smiling gently. He reminded her of senpai, though he seemed far more grounded and far more gentle. At least he wasn't bringing out roses out of nowhere and reciting obviously practiced speeches and pick up lines. She really wondered how much free time Tamaki senpai had if he could practice such things so often. Or maybe he was just that good at saying something without meaning it. Either way, it was annoying.
"Thank you." Haruhi reached for the offered glasses, turning to sit on the grass and placing her books down again. Another rub of eye and she reached to take out the second contact, sighing in relief as she managed to take it out. Carefully, she reached inside her bag for her case, and was quick to use the new glasses. Her eyesight adjusted and, while they weren't perfect for her, they surely were better than seeing nothing at all or wearing the contacts.
She smiled as he mentioned he was in first grade as well. She was really bad at noticing people in her own class, apart from Hikaru and Kaoru. "Are you in my class? I'm sorry, I tend to focus on studies and forget others faces easily."
